Media When a photographer plays Hogwarts Legacy
Im addicted to this game even more because taking pictures is so much fun in the game, being a photographer myself, part 1 of my picture taking on my switch 2

Is this what it feels like to get your Hogwarts acceptance letter?!
Hi everyone! I'm Cody, but you can call me Vaknar. I’m honoured to share that I recently joined Avalanche Software as the new Community Manager. TL; DR: I'm here to be the bridge between Avalanche and you, the Hogwarts Legacy community.
First things first, who is this guy? Well, I’m a midwestern boy but I've been living in Southern California for a few years. Enjoying frequent beach days and catching the occasional wave whenever possible. I’ve been a community manager in gaming for several years, and, of course, I’m a Harry Potter fan! I grew up reading the books, waiting outside the theaters for each movie release, and now I’m ecstatic to be a part of the Hogwarts Legacy team!
I'll be honest, Hogwarts Legacy really pulled me into the wizarding world, and the further in I got, the harder it was to put down. I won’t pretend that I’m an expert quite yet, but I think I'm well on my way! Between the game, the lore rabbit holes, and this community… I reckon it won't be long before I can rattle off obscure trivia tidbits without thinking twice.
I’ve only just started, and while I'm still finding my footing, my goal is straightforward: to make this a space easily worth showing up to. That means celebrating the amazing things you're creating, making sure your voices and feedback reach the right people, and keeping things welcoming and inclusive for everyone.
When I'm not kicking back in the Hufflepuff common room, you'll find me lurking in conversations, listening, interacting with the community and probably asking a lot of questions — I’m very interested in hearing what players think about the game. I promise I'm friendlier than a Chinese Chomping Cabbage, so don't be a stranger and feel free to say hi!
– Cody (Vaknar)

In my headcanon, Redd Perron is an apparent long lost descendant of Isidora Morganach and wanted to take revenge after finding out what the keepers did to her and her legacy. Shame about the game not allowing for such roleplay but it was fun to imagine this.
I don't know anything about Harry Potter or whatnot but the game loop was very good and the combat is very, very cool!

What is the quest and how do I get there? This is my 4th play through and I have never been able to get to that particular thing. Please help.

"Ring-a-ring o' trumpet daffodils,
a pocket full of Merlin's skills.
Lumos! Depulso! Confringo!
We all fall down!
After this trial, let's have a butterbeer, downtown 🍻"

I TRIED MY BEST
Despite my humongous mod list, it was surprisingly difficult to recreate my sweet girl. Anyways, have Runo if she was captured by a nautiloid and also was born of the God of Murder.

Like, my incendio is a fucking tiny circle, and theirs is a fire pillar!? Also, why, without mods, do you not have reducto and expulso? I looked it up and reducto would rip an enemy into tiny ass pieces. Imagine that. Boom, just solved life.

My go to is Desendo, Glacius, then Diffindo. I'll throw Expelliarmus in first if they have a weapon I can throw back at them.

My gut is telling me to put them in the mountain vivarium but I observed that most kneazles are in beach environments. I know it doesn't matter, but at this point, we are poachers, sooooo If I kidnapped them I should at least put them in the right spot.

I think I come through this hallway every time I play just to see what happens next but what’s the deal with these two, is there some lore or do they just fight for no reason?

E voi? Qual è la vostra creatura preferita? Quale creatura vorreste vedere in Hogwarts Legacy 2?

Procrastinating the 4th keeper trial - these are the outfits I keep coming back to. Anyone else got some favourite gear appearance lineups?

Either I'm doing something wrong, or this is the worst system of its kind I have ever played.
With camera relative targeting on, the game will lock onto a target centred on screen, but I can't move the camera. Instead, it switches targets, which is the last I want to do when surrounded and I'm trying thin enemy numbers. It's useless.
With camera relative targeting off, it isn't much better. I still can't lock-on to a target and move the camera because, yep, you guessed it, the movement stick makes you switch targets. At least the lock-on kind of works this way.
In both modes, I do press in the stick to lock on, but it makes no difference. I still can't maintain a lock on a specific target because of the stupid way this is mapped. Seriously, how is this meant to be played?
It's incredibly frustrating at best, but actually makes the game feel unplayable at times. I constantly hit enemies with the "wrong colour" of spells because it switches targets at the last second and spend 90% of the battles against groups of enemies with them at their full numbers because this constant target switching makes it impossible to focus on one enemy at a time.
Am I missing something here? Please tell me if I am doing something wrong because this cannot be how this works.

So, I got a new computer when my old one broke and could unfortunately not recover my files. I thought steam would save my progress since it's online like other games, but it seems like I have to start from scratch. Any solutions for this? Thanks.

Has anyone heard their saved beasts burp? I was in one of my vivariums and randomly heard one burp! I was in with fwoopers, hippogriffs, thestrals and nifflers.
Please tell me someone else has heard this?

Just nearing the end of the game (90 % completed according PS5). I enjoyed many aspects of the game (I may be one of the few who actually enjoy the combat - one of my favorite parts of the game), but overall, I think the game would provide a deeper experience if the developers tried to “mimic” Persona format, with free time planning, activities moving in game time etc.
What do you guys think?

I take so long to play through each house (im playing through my last one now -Slytherin) that I honestly just dont remember enough specifics to pinpoint big differences in each storyline?
