I’m starting a week early as I tend to make a lot, and I run out of them super fast!

In all my years following and going to GovBall, I’ve never seen the words “anxious” and “anxiety” used on this sub so much in the run-up to the festival dates.

Relax. Take some deep breaths. As I said in response to another poster, it’s a music festival, not an exam. You really can’t do it wrong unless you drop the ball on a couple basics, and even then, you’d be able to compensate and probably have a great time.

Maybe you won’t end up at barricade for your favorite artist. Maybe you’ll forget something and be mildly uncomfortable for all or part of a day. Maybe you won’t have the same experience you’d have had if you totally festmaxxxed, or whatever. All of this is ok. It’s certainly nothing to stress about.

Just read some of the “basic tips” posts in this sub, dive in to a new experience, and enjoy yourself. Enough with the anxiety. You’re doing great.

yeah just wanna say I’m sorry for how stays will be camping infront of barricade of any section for stray kids Saturday either it be pit or vip or even GA I’m sorry for how inconsiderate they are, I listen to stray kids and I’m a stay myself I don’t agree with literally camping from 11:30am all the way until 8pm just so they can have a good spot and completely block anyone from seeing other artists yes this is a issue with ALL kpop fans but it becomes embarrassing when you see grown ups literally block people from seeing there a favorite artist up close all because there being stubborn and ignorant knowing that skz won’t come on for another 9 hours, i wanna hope that it won’t be a lot but considering how obsessed kpop fans are idk it’s hard to tell but once again sorry for the non kpop fans that have to deal with that hopefully it won’t be to bad😔

Im having a bit of preconcert anxiety and paranoia 😭 but i wanted to ask how safe govball is? I’ll be going with a group of friends all 3 days but is it a generally safe environment?

I know the lines were absurd last year because of no wristbands, will they be the same this year and I’m really worried about missing Audrey hit with my flights and logistics I am probably getting there around 1:50, will I make it for at least part of her set? Plz help thanks!

I’m going to governors ball on Saturday with my friend. Super excited! But in the time since I bought the ticket, my physical help declined. Does anyone want have experience going to go ball with a wheelchair or rollator . How good is the accessible seating would there potentially be a place to park and leave my mobility aid ? How big r lockers any other helpful information

this is my first time going to gov ball and i tend to be pretty anxious with travel. i’ve heard the train situation can take a while to get on the train/the trains take a while to get to grand central so i just need someone to assure me ill be able to get to grand central by like 1:30 am lol when the last train leaves on the metro north. is there like any chance i wont be able to make it back in time?

Hi! First time goer here, I have a ride there and a ride home. I’m curious if anyone here has used the drop off location, I’m from a small town. Never been on a train alone. How far is the walk from the entrance to the drop off spot? And will there be signs? Thanks!

I was looking on the website and I didn’t see anything about small signs only totems so i was wondering if i’m allowed to bring one? I’m going for my birthday to see pierce the veil and i wanna hold up a sign indicating it’s my birthday but i don’t want to go through the trouble if they aren’t allowed lol. I obviously won’t be holding it up the whole time and blocking others view i only plan on holding it up for short periods of time in between songs!

Has anyone taken their kids? Are they strict with age? My ten year old is a girl and looks smaller than my 8 year old boy and I’m seeing how likely ill be able to take my kids in without getting them a wristband. My husband, sister, and I all have wristbands.

For the bag policy, it says the 6x9 need to have 1 pocket. I have a lululemon 1L cross body that I’m bringing. Will they be strict on that or is it chill? It has the main exterior zipper and on the inside little separate mesh pockets.

Are any parts of the park besides the festival grounds blocked off when exiting at night?

I was thinking of having someone picking me up in front of the Queens Museum (a family member, not an uber). Would it be possible for me to just walk left after exiting the festival grounds and go straight to the parking lot? I've never gone to govball before so I don't know if they have barriers for crowd control etc..

I don't plan on leaving early for the headliner and I really don't want to walk in the crowd going towards the station

FAQS are incredibly vague about bringing kids so thought I’d ask for personal experiences: if you brought your kids 8 and under last year, did you need to bring ID/proof for them? And if you have a bracelet for yourself do you truly just show up with them and they can get in with you?

So I received my tickets in the mail. I hadn’t opened them because I’ve seen enough wristbands already and I had no real reason to see. But I’m considering selling some so I wanted to see which package was the ticket I needed to keep. I have 3 tickets all purchased individually (3 day vip, fri vip and sat ga+). One envelope has a small tear in the corner and before I opened it I was like ha what if the wristband wasn’t there. Well. It wasn’t there. Luckily it is one of the tickets I didn’t need anymore but I feel like it is extremely unbelievable to tell govball that it got stolen. Idk if this is a common thing or not. I sent them an email so I will see what they say but what a bummer. Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing. I got insurance on the ticket I’ll see if they can assist if govball can’t.

Will I be able to send texts at Gov ball even if I send MSG as text message so it’s a green bubble or period no text messages will go through??
ChatGPT told me she’s confident 80% that texts can go through during the morning but not during peak concert hours.
