Rate my deck Did You Know There Are Two Korvolds?
One day, I read [[Korvold, Gleeful Glutton]].
This card is nearly ranked #1300 on EDHREC. Chances are, that’s because it shares namespace with another, more traditionally powerful Korvold.
I didn’t like that. I saw potential and I wanted to push this Korvold to be as strong as he could be. Hence, Bracket 4 Korvold, Gleeful Glutton.
The goal of the deck is simple—cast Korvold on turns 2-4, smash face. From there, you can either take out your biggest threats via combat damage or win through Hulk lines into [[Warren Soultrader]], with [[Witherbloom Apprentice]] as backup.
The deck is deceptively fast, makes a lot of mana, and has the tutors to get out what it needs. It has a lot of stax/MLD pieces that can slow the game down and hold people back while your Korvold draws 4-5 cards every single turn. I playtested its newest revisions recently and went 3/3 in my local B4 pod!
Main exclusions are the other two moxes and Vampiric Tutor. Truth be told, I could add them, but they would incline me to lean moreso into a turbo style that sacrifices some of my more expensive interaction. I could do that, but I don’t *really* want to as it sacrifices the deck’s uniqueness and it matches up poorly into my local pod.
I’ve noticed this deck struggles most of it ends up stranded with low cards in hand and low mana. If Korvold gets countered or dies early, you can be at a major deficit. You really want to be running this in a sufficiently competitive 4 where enough people will have KOS stuff such that Korvold isn’t the most immediate threat.
That being said, I want to hear from all of you! tell me what you think, if you have any spicy card recs, and if you think this deck is truly degenerate enough. If you have any questions, I’d be glad to answer!

Rate my deck The most degenerate version of the most degenerate deck. Here's my Bracket 4 Lantern Control deck.
So one of the first decks I ever made was a budget lantern control deck. It worked, but it had many issues. Definitely more of a bracket 2 deck. After playing a lot more magic and revisiting the idea of lantern control many more times, I slowly turned a bracket 2 mess into a bracket 4 monster.
The core game plan of this deck is centered around [[The One Ring]] and [[Unwinding Clock]] which will draw you into a flash enabler. That gets you the lantern lock parts and a lot of countermagic. Then you drop [[Platinum Angel]] and the lock is in place.
I think the countermagic is a big reason this deck works better than older iterations I've made for the same reason that Sharuum is a massive improvement. This deck is resilient. If someone keeps removal in hand at the start of the game and tries to remove platinum angel at the perfect window, I can counter it. If someone counters/destroys The One Ring or Unwinding Clock I just cast my commander and its back.
So anyways, I'm very happy with how this iteration is working! If you have any ideas on how to improve the list or any questions, let me know!

Rate my deck Is there any redemption for this list?
This list is trying to gimp everyone by gambling everything on top-deck manipulation into…. Something. I haven’t had much luck yet in the three or four games I’ve played, but I might just not know how to mulligan correctly. Is this deck redeemable? Or should I scrap it for something like [[krark, the thumbless]] [[sakashima of a thousand faces]]? I know Karn seems like an oddball but I paid money for him so I’m GOING TO USE HIM.
It could also be the lack of rocks or maybe there aren’t enough lands but I figured the whole theme of the deck made that a necessity. (High roller status) (in game).

I can regularly present a win between turn 3-5, but if it goes longer, I will be killing all of your creatures with surgically precise -1-1 counters while I dig for my beautiful blood artist, butcher ghoul, sifter of skulls, etc.
Thoughts?

Doing my best to make some Silverquill happen. I know Killian, Ink Duelist would be a better commander for a deck that runs so much Repartee, but I like some of the spells that can be doubled with Silverquill 2, Return Of That Thing I Just Cast.

I needed a fun, quick win deck since most of my decks are annoying and complicated. So, let me know what you think and how I can improve it in the future

Rate my deck Building the MOST degenerate deck
Hello friends! Recently I had a discussion with some members of my regular playgroup about building the most degenerate decks possible. (Note: In bracket 3)
Now, I had considered this question from a regular perspective, including things like Stax, Mindslaver effects, fast combo, and the like.
However.
I had a devious idea for the truest essence of degeneracy: “Group hug no wincon” but pushed to the logical extreme.
A pure king-making deck. No wincon. Rather, making another player your wincon by giving them as much support as possible, and slowing down every other player.
This is obviously terrible to play against for any integrity of the game. I am fully aware. However, I believe this could be the MOST degenerate strategy, because even going into the game, you are playing with an entirely different goal than the other players.
So what do you think? Is this worse than Stax, Combo, and Mindslaver? Would you even play against this deck, even in the context of a pure degenerate game?
Decklist: https://moxfield.com/decks/U7DPNZbZ-0uke-bxvW1JQQ
(Note: The deck is also build to be a value pile so you can’t get blown out if people don’t want to play along with the degeneracy. Though you’ll never actually win the game)

Rate my deck 15 lands go brrrrr
I built the Satoru from Outlaws of Thunder Junction to be a fragile manual storm deck.
It mulligans down to 4 almost every game, but it almost never bricks.

Rate my deck Dargo x Jeska Cheerios: Turn 3 OneHit
Hi guys here is my mono red Dargo x Jeska cheerio list.
It tries to kill the first opponent turn 3-4, the target powerlevel for my deck is low B4.
It also runs a cloudstone curio x impact tremors combo which let me loop my red cheerio creatures.
Would love some advice for optimizing this list (without spending 30Euro on a single card)

Rate my deck Lorehold miracles
Hey all,
My prerelease kit was extremely kind to me gifting me a borderless [[lorehold, the historian]] and [[library of leng]] so I put together a fun deck that I’ve iterated upon over the last week or so. I’ve played 11 games so far and made numerous changes (mostly the 46 cards in the considering pile). Mostly plan on playing with high 3s and low 4s.
Combos I’ve included so far (not sure how far I can push it till I’m firmly out of b3):
[[reprieve]] + [[approach of the second sun]]
[[mystic forge]] + [[longshot, rebel bowman]] + [[sensei’s divining top]]
Decklist: https://moxfield.com/decks/4pDZq8Judk25AdEidGXEmw
Is there anything obvious I’ve missed? I feel like I’m missing some wincons but I’m not sure.

Rate my deck That Ain’t Cat Tribal - Ajani, Nacatl Pariah
This is the deck that I’ve had called ”cEDH level” by randoms more than any other deck I’ve ever played, and nobody sees it coming
[[Ajani, Nacatl Pariah]] is known as a cat commander or a token commander. I raise you one better: what about stax?
Planeswalkers operate well under stax for self-evident reasons, and Ajani does one better by giving you repeated access to removal and damage in the command zone. You run a brutally fast list of accelerated mana and stax pieces (that can be customized for your local meta!) such that, ideally, you flip Ajani on turn 2 and are ready to start blasting.
Have you noticed that a lot of B4 games run surprisingly low amounts of removal (similar to how cEDH games run very low amounts, favoring counterspells/protection). A lot of creature-centric decks fundamentally can’t deal with Ajani’s degree of removal whatsoever! It’s just untenable, and they weren’t designed with that in mind! The amount of *Planeswalker* removal is particularly low, making Ajani a bitch and a half to actually get rid of!
On top of that? There’s a fun interaction with token doublers where, due to the wording of the ability, they double the tokens *and* Ajani’s bolt effect. This can very quickly close out the game because, guess what, it hits face too!
I’m sharing this here because it has been my most successful deck for a long time, and its list has been entirely custom made. Boros Stax is typically just Winota, and Winota is built in such a way that you can’t easily transfer her lists to other commanders. Ajani may lack the killing speed of Winota, but he gets on the board faster, makes himself tougher to kill, and once you cast a turn 2 [[Crack the Earth]] to flip Ajani, you’ll never turn back.
This list is degenerate, it is mean, and I love it. List here. Tell me what you think! I’d love suggestions and ideas.

Rate my deck What bracket is my Ashling, the Limitless deck?
Hi! I recently upgraded my dance of the elementals deck. I have been having fun with Ashling, the Limitless as the commander.
I upgraded the mana base and feels it is fast/optimized for bracket 2. Is this considered bracket 3 despite having no game changers?
Here is the list: https://moxfield.com/decks/zeCWPkbDFkaToSN0iet5cQ
What can I do to optimize the deck further? It also has an infinite loop with dark ritual, heartless summoning and greenwarden of murasa. Cheers!

Rate my deck Prismari, The Inspiration - good commander?
Good morning everyone,
I have decided to build my first deck outside from a tribal deck, I play goblins, slivers, elves, humans and merfolk.
During the leaks of Strixhaven, I found Prismari, the Inspiration such an interesting commander and started working on an edh deck immediately.
I am happy to say that I have finally completed my deck list and would love to see what everyone’s feedback and recommendations to make it even better could be.
I am still trying to get my head around being a spellslinger which I find very interesting.
I will be grateful for all your feedback and suggestions on the deck :)
I am working towards the exact same printing also :)

Rate my deck Sephiroth bracket 4 list
moxfield.comI have been working on this for past few days
This is probably one of the better or best sephiroth list out there so far, if others think otherwise I would love to see better lists.
If anyone is interested in discussing sephiroth im all for it. I enjoy picking players brains. If anyone has any questions on card choices I am happy to argue my case.

After doodeling for a while ive made this deck. In honor of nicholas cage and thebnew tv-series.
It could be more thematic, it could be better.
Aiming for peak bracket 2. It mightve reached mid 3. not sure, need more brains and opinions on hand.

Rate my deck Tell me how degenerate this
Hi all, it’s me again.
I got some cards as a present and a gift card that I used to buy a few more cards. The only thing I think I am missing is a [[vampiric tutor]] that I am hoping to get in a SOS draft with some friends (yeah right, I’m not that lucky).
Here is my my final deck list
https://archidekt.com/decks/22200438/yuriko
I am a little worried I have too many counters and I don’t really like Swan song because of the flying token it gives, but other than that, I think this is what I am sticking with. What do y’all think? This is the most fun I’ve had deck building. I was also thinking off maybe adding [[scheming symmetry]] but not sure if that is a good idea playing against strong decks.

Rate my deck I made a really weird deck... Counter Hate
The idea is to play strong cards which have a draw back...
They get counters that have negative effects, such as -1/-1, finality, and stun (and many more).
Now what if we REMOVE those counters???
First I used [[Tayam, Luminous Enigma]] as commander as he fits perfectly. But I caught myself tuning the deck completely to the commander and removing pet cards like [[Solemnity]] or other enchantments with counters on them as the commander only applies to creatures. But we are weird degenerates and we want to play weird degenerated deck combos.
Then I found [[Thalia and The Gitrog Monster]] and she fit pretty well. 3-4 cards to support her and balla bing balla boom it is degenerated.
(Un)fortunately the counter remove is not consistent enough for [[Quicksilver Fountain]] + [[Carpet of Flowers]]
It was such fun building this deck as I was looking for cards which use ANY kind of counter which I could remove for my advantage (like [[Binding the Old Gods]]). It took me days - each find was so exciting.
I tried it a bit in Forge and it combos brothers, it combos into degenerration heaven.
When you draw [[Solemnity]] or [[Melira, Sylvok Outcast]] you have to decide if you drop some mechanics for the greater degeneration like [[Delaying Shield]] or [[Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight]].
Also why not remove counters from opponents cards?
I cant wait to throw the deck at my pod
