Worth it to go to creighton w 31K merit aid a year?

hi I just got into creighton w 31K merit aid a year. My parents are upper middle class/upper class for mn so I'm not expecting need based aid. I'm wondering if people got similair packages?/if creighton is still worth it for 35ishK a year even after aid. my local state school would be about 13K a year with minimal aid so I really don't know if this is worth it

Creighton University, where do you actually eat?

Hi,
We’re four guys who mapped out the dining scene around Creighton in an app called Vota. The idea is straightforward: you see two places side by side (The Grey Plume vs Block 16), pick the one you prefer, and the ranking updates instantly. The more people vote, the sharper and more accurate the list becomes. There are still a few duplicates here and there, but we’re cleaning the data nonstop.

I know this can look like self-promotion, and I get that campus subreddits get tired of repeat posts, but a bunch of you have already rated places around Omaha and the feedback has been surprisingly positive. The usual complaints were “no Android” (fixed now) and “no website” (coming soon). If this annoys you, feel free to ignore me and I won’t post again. No sponsorships, no restaurant deals, nothing commercial. Just locals and students shaping the ranking.

Here’s the iPhone version, with categories matched to what people actually eat around Creighton:
https://apps.apple.com/app/vota-restaurant-ratings/id6744969212

And here’s the Android version (finally live):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vota.app

P.S.: I’m not from Omaha (I live in Gothenburg). I don’t collect data, don’t sell anything, and the app doesn’t use AI-generated content. I’m posting in a few subreddits because we now support multiple regions, and I’m hoping for real feedback from people who actually know the area.

Are there any current/former students of Creighton Law who would be willing to share their experiences?

Hello. I’m a recent graduate of Creighton University who is really interested in doing law school. I know that Creighton has a lower ranking compared to other law schools in the country. However, it’s still my top choice due to a desire to return to Omaha and the fact that I am familiar with several professors who work in the law school.

If there are any students/alumni in this subreddit. I would love the hear about your experience and life after graduation. The general advice I’ve received is to go to UNL for law school if I really want to do it in Nebraska. Is this true?

Creighton Phoenix ABSN

Hello! I recently got accepted into Creighton's ABSN for Spring 2026 in Phoenix. I was wondering if anyone could provide their experience with the program and any insight they have on workload, professors, clinicals etc. I do plan on bartending part time. I am accepting this offer over Alverno's DEMSN and just want to hear what I am in for. Anything helps!!! Thank you :)

Marcus Blossom is a bum!

He intentionally reduced staff tonight at both the volleyball and soccer games. From a 3rd party quote he thinks men’s soccer is a dying sport. Easily the most successful sports program for the university and he could not give two shits.

Care package

Hi all. I have a person I care about moving in as a freshman this week to start her journey at Creighton. I know her Mom will make sure she gets snacks & goodies but I’d like to send her care packages to supplement. Do you have any tips on gift cards for certain places to eat or local stores (Walgreens/CVS/Target)? I am open to all suggestions. I’ve never been to the area and am not sure what would be good to send her. My failsafe is Zelleing cash :). Thank you for your input.

Creighton Phoenix Accelerated BSN advice (12 month for people with a BS already)

Wanting to hear from someone who has actually been in the program or several people preferably I am curious as to how much of your time during the one year is dedicated to classwork time and clinical time. I know that homework time is going to fluctuate from person to person, which is why I have not included that in my request That to me I’m just trying to sort out what the rest of the commitment looks like. Creighton has been very vague in their information on this..

Looking for advice and answers please

For anybody who has participated in the Phoenix program for those who have a bachelors in a non-nursing specialty to obtain their BSN. What was the amount of class time and clinical time you spent each week, I am not asking about the homework portion because I know that can greatly vary depending on the student. Thank you in advance.
