Hilarious! It’s kind of why I root for him. He’s like my sweet teenage nephew with the personality of a puppy. I’m invested in his ups & downs. This year he took a bad school photo. He was having a bad day. He’s emotional like his aunt!

As a Clippers fan this roster makes me happy. Full disclosure: I realize ownership would rather bring players up through the minors than spend $$$ on free agents, but I’m looking on the bright side! 🤩🤣

The way I see it is we've been begging for them to play the kids for years now and they're FINALLY listening. So I'm going to enjoy watching them play!!

I cannot waaaaait until he's back to 100%! His ability to bop around the field and play where ever is so SO helpful! He gave a dugout interview during spring training and it sounds like they're hoping to get him into the outfield in a couple of months 🤞

He did. He is Venezuelan with Italian heritage as well, enough to qualify him to play for team Italy. He’s mainly Venezuelan though

"Mainly Venezuelan" is funny. And props on not saying "He's like 60% Venezuelan" as if someone can be 60% of anything.
People can be two things at once because there's cultural context behind identity and it's not an either or. It would be like saying "I'm 100% a Guardians fan on my dad's side and 100% a Browns fan on my mom's side so I'm 50% Browns and 50% Guardians"
Nope. You're a Browns fan, a Guardians fan and miserable but you live with hope.

Yeah lol I think his country of citizenship being Venezuela is what warrants the “mainly” designation.

He did! Only in the WBC final and only got like 1 at bat though. He's Italian via his grandpa.

This offense is so fucked if Chase is not really good. It's depressing every year to have to deal with Dolan being a cheapskate, especially when the other two owners in the city are two of the highest spenders in their respective leagues.
