They literally deleted everything from the show (specially Sabrina Carpenter)

Sure that the show was cringe but it remember they being like "I loved BMW, it's a honor to be in the sequel" and stuffs like that and now they deleted everything lol (but yeah, the writing was horrible)

Alot of people suffer to gambling addiction and most influencers are promoting gambling since they pay the most. Alot of influencers are scrutinized for taking those sponsors. The gambling promo seems like a way to get the attention of fanduel or draftkings.

Do you also pike the idea of them staying together or just for a little bit personally I would like it if they stayed together if they ever did decide to date

Are the other people too who like Boy meets world but can't stand one actor that breaks the fun a bit? I can't stand the actor who plays Shawn. And that character doesn't help at all. I think both are annoying.

I get it Shawn is emotional but it's always a bit to much drama with him. The things his charater does and the way the actor acts. I can only watch so much episodes and I have to turn it off for the day. I cannot stand him.

I never had it with annother show. Or maybe some side characters, but they are easy to ignore.

I was listening to the "Poetic License" recap again and the podcast hated that Shawn asked Cory if he knew what his poems were about. In their mind, it derailed the scene because it shouldn't have been about if Cory understood Shawn's poetry. Him violating Shawn's privacy and reading the poem was the issue, which I agree with.

But earlier in the recap, they said they would understand Cory's behavior more if he knew the poem was about Angela, or if he had some indication of it. Again, I agree with that. Cory just really wants Shawn to read his poetry because of something something. It would have made the episode stronger if Cory knew Shawn was hiding his true feelings and went down this path because he didn't know any other way to help.

Looking at the scene again, I interpreted it differently. Shawn asking if Cory knew who the poem was about had a purpose. It wasn't there to derail the scene, it enhanced it. Shawn is already pissed that Cory signed him up for the poetry reading, and even more pissed that Cory took it upon himself to read the poem when Shawn had anxiety on stage. But Cory knows nothing about the poetry. He doesn't know who it's about, he has no understanding of it, he can't pick up on any context. He's so pushy about it, but he's completely disconnected from it.

I feel like Shawn was testing him. If Cory knew the poem was for Angela, I think he would have been okay. Shawn would still be upset, but he would at least try to understand. But Cory knew nothing, and thought the Angela poem was about him. Shawn was willing to give Cory a chance there and Cory blew it. That whole scene crystallizes the entire episode: Cory wanted to help, but he didn't even know why he was helping.

What do you guys think?

I feel like “More Info Coming Soon” gives me the impression they have something special planned for this recap, any guesses what it might be if there is something going on? Would they maybe want to recap it live?

I didn’t grow up with the show but I became aware of the changing cast dynamics recently and I’m wondering why Ben Savage is still distant even after his multiple failed political campaigns.

One of people’s working theories was that perhaps he wanted to distance himself from his castmates in order to project a more serious and mature public image. But his recent ventures outside the entertainment industry have failed.

I understand people change, but his castmates were his friends and coworkers for over 25 years and then one day in his 40s he decides to cut all contact with them with no explanation? I know some child actors go through phases of not loving their work but come on. At least the Olsen twins distanced themselves from Full House when they were 18 and not 40. And hell even *they* still talk about Full House occasionally, eg. When Bob Saget died and they issued two statements including a joint one with the rest of their cast. And normally they avoid talking about their show. But at least they gave a reason LOL.

It’s possible I’m just extra-sensitive to his castmates’ feelings due to oddly similar situations with my own former friends but that’s beside the point. He clearly enjoyed the show, to the point that he reprised the role on a continuation for 3 seasons as a settled adult in his mid-30s.

And then the rest of the main cast went to a party a year or two ago thrown by William Daniels and Ben didn’t show. Yeah they’re not peers in age but supposedly Ben was still close with Daniels and his wife until he cut contact. Like, wow, dude, you’re really going to leave a near-centenarian in the dark too, of all people? He’s 99!

Savage’s behavior is bizarre. I could expect this from a young man of 20 but not a man of 45. You “ghost” someone after 30 days, not 30 years.

Either the rest of the cast screwed up massively or he’s just a terrible friend.

Listened to almost all the PMW podcasts. I lived in suburb of PHL for years there are no trailer parks and not once has this been brought up on the pod.

Look, obviously looking at it from a real life perspective, Topanga choosing Pennbrook over Yale for Cory is a very dumb decision no matter how good or bad of a boyfriend Cory is. However, the fact of the matter is that Topanga absolutely needed to remain in the show and there was really no way to send her to Yale without writing her off. So regardless, Yale was never an option.

However, what's my issue is that way too many shows exclusively discuss the most well known colleges in the country, like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc. Way too many shows, especially on Disney, have their characters go to super well known colleges and if they don't, then they make up a college for a character to go to like Boy Meets World. What I'm saying is, why did the only options have to be Yale or Pennbrook for Topanga? Pennsylvania has UPenn, another Ivy League school. I'm not sure why she couldn't have gone there considering it would literally be in Philly. It wouldn't have been that hard for Topanga to be visiting Cory, Shawn and Angela at Pennbrook. The whole debacle of Topanga choosing to stay with Cory over going to Yale would have been way less iffy if Topanga chose to go to UPenn rather than Pennbrook.

I never watch reels but I hit the button by accident last night and this came on and I about died laughing
