deferred EA, I'm choosing to be considered RD. I'm sure it's clear to the admissions office that UChicago isn't my top choice since I'm not doing ED II, so would a LOCI be useless?

Pondering this myself and concluding that not switching to EDII would be an equivalent of signing my own Rejection letter.

Didn’t LOCI, did RD after deferred EA for 2025, still got in

I am not sure if there is any point to RD. Do they count deferrals in their total RD count to pad their low acceptance stats…
