Honestly, I'm not entirely sure about this but I did a little research and I think I might have gotten one in the mail today? There was a nice little note at the bottom of a mailer I received so I think that might be what you're talking about!

You can’t say the date and ppl are getting bored already. Just one email and we will stop. Like other threads ppl get so fired up not knowing the date but here it’s so dry, ppl can’t do this for too long.

I didn't know that you could sign up for an interview and the time to sign up has elapsed. I'm pretty pissed of. William and Mary was never a top choice per se but as I've learned more about this school I've fallen in love with it. I hope it doesn't disadvantage my application.

Didn’t know about the interviews either. I wouldn’t stress too much over it though, as long as you let your application reflect who you are.

Last year they wrote on IG that decisions would be out by April 1st (on March 17) & released them March 21st. https://www.instagram.com/p/B92UJafpr38/?igshid=5sx5v1vvkffh
And they came out the year before that on the 23rd.
Sooo, yes it could be April 1st, but many schools still release earlier than what the range they give on social media.

I see, I heard some UCLA peeps saying that their portal closed yesterday and the decisions would come out today. So I was wondering if that applies to W&M as well and maybe we will get decisions tomorrow as the portal changed today. Of course we know nothing for certain lol😅😌

w&m's excellent for polisci/govt! they have lots of connections w dc (including being part of a dc internship fair with gtown, swarthmore, and nyu) + they're really undergrad-focused, so you get more attention from profs and there's more opps to be involved in research.

This year it was virtual of course. You had to sign up through the website. All interview slots were filled before I got a chance to register and I got the cypher postcard yesterday so clearly you do not need to interview to get an acceptance!
