Okay literally the fact that I am willing to give you $70k per year should be more than enough demonstrated interest

No seriously I'm actually International and I have no fricken clue tbh. I asked earlier on the northeastern thread ppl said it was okay. I got into EA for CS and it costs a lot. So I was wondering if I should consider northeastern too?

ppl on this sub have wack standards lol. regardless of rankings and prestige, if you like their program and opportunities available then it is a good school. good luck!

oh i’m sorry i thought you were trying to be rude so my apologies.

northeastern is a p good school to go to and it’s great u got into it for CS! usually CS is really hard to get into as a major in general and whilst idk the stats for CS itself i don’t think northeastern is known for it specifically, but you should def consider it as a choice!

Aha well I had no intention of being rude:)

It has the Co-op program . Is that worth paying 80k per year?

I think it would only be worth it if you got a scholarship. If not then consider a cheaper option. Imo almost no school is worth 80k. I like the co op program too but you can do summer internships at any college. And I say this as a northeastern simp.

Nope 0 scholarship. 80k for northeastern is a lot imho

Well I mean it is and it isn’t, northeastern is stats heavy and I didn’t submit any test scores and it is an absolute reach for me while for others who have very high test scores, it’s practically a target school!

Well I literally went test optional (No SAT no subject SAT) as an international. School doesn't give GPA and my grades are deflated. Pretty sure that didn't get me in. Plus I don't think northeastern has essay prompts. Ig it was pretty holistic.

Edit: no intention of being rude. I just want ppl to realise that going test optional can give you great results . Good luck!
