I found the AI image on the left on an Etsy listing, and knew I just had to be make it in real life. I’m so happy with how it turned out!! I changed up the colours because I wanted the dragon to stand out more, but tried to keep the pattern itself as close to the AI image as possible.

I wrote the pattern out as I went, got some testers to test it and I’ve just released it on my Ravelry and Etsy!!

I’ve been wanting to crochet more flowers, but I usually prefer making animals and dolls. So I decided to mix the two and created Orchid Snake.

It was so much fun to design, and now I’m tempted to make more flower animal hybrid :)

I’ve been working on this Butterfly Whale on and off since November, and I finally finished it!

My friend mentioned today that she thought it might look even better with blue wings instead of pink. That got me thinking… would it looked better in blue, or maybe even orange like a monarch butterfly?

I absolutely love designing my own dragon patterns, and I’m so happy with how this little guy turned out. This is the first dragon I’ve made that curls up naturally BY ITSELF (without wires or needing the tail to be sewn underneath the head!!) and I’m so proud of it.

I gave this one butterfly wings 🦋 butterflies are a very important symbol to me right now, as they are a widely used symbol of pregnancy loss, and I recently lost my twin girls at 20 weeks pregnant. Crocheting has been so helpful as a way to cope and distract myself from my grief, I’m sure many of you would be well aware of how healing crafting can be ❤️

Edit: I had no idea people were so upset over the word 'Karen'. There was no misogynistic intent (particularly seeing as I'm a woman). There are certain groups of crocheters who clutch their pearls over a crocheted peen and berate me in the comments for daring to be so 'vulgar'. These are the people I was referring to. You don't have to like everything that comes across your screen, but you also don't have to be an a$$hat about it.

My latest dragon pet! I made this one suuuuuper long and made more fin-like wings than my regular ones. I thought this Caron Macchiato yarn was so pretty mermaidy 😍 The wings and tail tip are made with Lion Brand Heartland

I'm in my bag making era right now, evidently! I put a couple sets of dice in him with room to spare, and then you pull on his tongue to close his mouth. So silly and he gives me a lil dopamine hit every time I see him 🐸💚

My cousin said she was considering asking me to make little dumpling giveaways for my nephew’s 1st birthday, but she was too shy and didn’t want me to feel pressured. The party was yesterday, but I decided to give it a try today, just to see what I would have done.

(Her kid looks like a dumpling and has super curly hair, hence the top part having all those curls. Haha!)

I was trying out a new idea for crocheted eyes and a way to attach them into the project so they're more "set in" and I don't have to sew them on afterwards.

Meet Princess Sparklebottom! He is the self proclaimed prettiest, sparkliest, chonky-bottomest goblin in all the land 👑✨🍑

His favorite movie is Hook because of the food fight scene with all the colorful food. He's tried to fly to Neverland but his wings only get him about three inches off the ground and he can only fly about for about 10 seconds before he needs a break. Plus he keeps stopping for snacks. Or when he sees something shiny. He'll get there eventually!

I looked everywhere for a stegosaurus pattern made in worsted yarn where I didn’t need to attach the head and body (I don’t mind sewing… except heads to bodies!). Couldn’t find one… so I decided to make my own!
