Possible World Cup Squad
5 KEEPERS! HOW MUCH DO WE NEED?
HOW MANY KEEPERS DO WE NEED?! I know the're being evaluated in Sidi Moussa, but even still, it's dicgracefull that Bennacer might not be playing this year. Same with Bounedjah, Benbouali should go, but it's too early for Ghedjemis and Bellazoug. We need more defenders, as most of the players in defence are center halfs (CB).
What formation would you play in this tournament

Argentinian analysis of Algeria
To sum it up, Algeria is weak in the middle, disorganised and impatient.

[FWC2026] 2x Cat 1 tickets – Algeria vs Jordan | June 22 | San Francisco
Hi everyone,
Long story short: I bought these 2 tickets as a Valentines gift for my partner but our plans changed due to current events in the country he’s not comfortable traveling there.
Sooo… I’m now selling these 2 tickets (Category 1 - Supporters tickets).
Bought them $450 each at face value. Trying to resell them without a huge loss.
DM me if anyone interested

I asked chatgpt for Algeria's easiest path to world cup victory
This was the result:
Matchday 1 — June 16, 2026
Argentina vs Algeria — Kansas City
Austria vs Jordan — San Francisco
Matchday 2 — June 22, 2026
Argentina vs Austria — Arlington
Jordan vs Algeria — San Francisco
Matchday 3 — June 27, 2026
Algeria vs Austria — Kansas City
Jordan vs Argentina — Arlington
Easiest Algeria Qualification Path
Match 1
Algeria 1–1 Argentina
This is actually the best time to face Argentina:
opening-game nerves,
pressure on defending champions,
Algeria can sit deep and counter.
A draw here changes the entire group.
Match 2
Algeria 2–0 Jordan
This becomes the must-win game.
Jordan are making their World Cup debut and currently dealing with major injuries.
After two matches:
Algeria: 4 pts
Argentina: 4 pts
Austria: 3 pts
Jordan: 0 pts
Match 3
Algeria 1–1 Austria
This is likely the decisive qualification match.
Austria are dangerous under Ralf Rangnick, but Algeria’s athleticism and transitions can hurt them.
Final projected table:
TeamPtsArgentina7Algeria5Austria4Jordan0
Algeria’s Best Knockout Route
The ideal scenario:
Algeria finish 2nd
Avoid France/Brazil/Spain early
Land in a softer Round of 32 tie
Round of 32
Algeria vs Panama
Projected Algeria win.
Round of 16
Algeria vs Switzerland
Very difficult but winnable.
Quarter-final
Algeria vs Portugal
Probably the “best” elite opponent Algeria could hope for.
Semi-final
Algeria vs England
Final
Algeria vs Brazil or Argentina
The huge game is really:
Algeria vs Austria
That is probably the true Round-of-32 playoff hidden inside the group stage. Argentina are favorites to top the group. Jordan are outsiders. So Algeria-Austria likely decides who advances automatically.

Would you have Belloumi on the LW posistion?
I mean Amoura isn't the same, Boulbina isn't in a real league where he can be tested, don't get started with Brahimi, so play Belloumi or don't play with wingers. What's your opinion on this, and don't hold back. Prove me wrong!

Amin Chiakha goal
Really rifled it in. Good technique. Replacement for Baghdad.

Yacine Brahimi on the LW
I don't care. I really don't.
I don't care he's 35. I don't care it's the Qatari league. He is on better form than most. If Mahrez is there, Brahimi needs to be there.

My updated WC list after recent news
Both Mastil and Mandrea had surgery, so WC is gone for both of them.
Bentaleb had surgery, and even with his reassurances about returning soon I have my doubts.
Bennacer hasn't played a single game since Afcon(💔💔)
Titraoui has an unknown injury, and hasn't played in 2-3 weeks, and nothing about his injury is known which scares me.
Gouiri also has a hamstring injury, and depending on its severity he's WC is also gone, but Marseille today said he started rehabilitation so I'm hopeful.
I could see an argument for Moncef Bakrar over Camiel Neghli. But what are your thoughts.

World Cup/Kansas/USA
I have a room to rent out for visitors to the World Cup. I’m located in the city hosting the Algerian team. Could someone suggest how I might advertise this room to potential travelers? Thank you!

Algeria's left winger problem
I was watching an old game and for some reason Mahrez was on the left and scored a goal. I remembered he scored a similar goal from a Feghouli freekick.
If you're a very skilled winger, does it really matter what side of the pitch youre on?
And with so many gifted wingers:
Mahrez, Hadj Moussa, Kebbal, Ghadjemis... why can't Algeria have one on the right and one on the left?
As long as whoever plays on the left has cohesion with Maza and Ait Nouri (and Gouiri).
In other words, Algeria can start with a midfield of
AHM or Kebbal, maza, boudaoui, mahrez
Have a 5 man defence and play Gouiri up front.
