Is it possible to do multiple plans in one day? I want to shop and then eat. How does that work? Thank you

To start I want to say that I work for a financial technology company. System errors happen. People can be charged erroneously. How a company deals with these issues is what is important.
I purchased from a gift for my daughter through local vendor’s online store on 4/12, and used Affirm’s payment plan option. The loan was approved and payment was processed on 4/13. On 4/14 a second loan was initiated for the same amount, and processed on 4/15.
I disputed this second loan with Affirm, as I only ever had record of one successful transition. I also reached out to the vendor, who confirmed they only had one receipt of payment, and one order which they shipped to me. I submitted my receipt, as well as screenshots from my conversation with a vendor to Affirm.
Affirm denied my dispute saying they “sided with the merchant” while also sending me an email stating that the vendor refunded $28.17. The vendor has no record of any sort of refund, and again, only one transaction in their system. The merchant confirmed that Affirm never even reached out to them directly.
When I called to speak to a human being, the agent suggested that the vendor was lying and just pocketing the additional charge. The vendor would have receipt of any payments processed through their online store
The state of the economy means more and more people are buying things on credit, and utilizing pay later type services… I have, many times in the past, but no longer. The fact that it’s even challenging to get in touch with a human being is a good indication that we should not be giving these folks money.
I was allowed to open a second claim, the agent I spoke with suggested that this was not typical. I can try disputing the charges with my bank, but as the transaction has been paid in installments, it will be challenging.
Save your money, put it in a shoebox under your bed… even that seems less of a risk than giving it to these fin tech companies, who provide limited support options, and zero accountability.
Note: I have censored from my images the full loan ID for privacy purposes, as well as the name of the vendor… None of this is their fault, and I don’t want them to receive any sort of negative attention.

I bought stuff from Walmart pickup mid April. Out of stock and sale items made the total go from $244 to $98. I got a couple small refunds for items I returned after the $98(so total is really like $92). Affirm never processed the big returns. I ended up paying now $125 which is more than my order even is. It's all up to date on Walmarts end. This is on affirm. They owe me a refund AND to close all scheduled payments.
I opened a dispute on chat. Clearly saying the order is $98. I'm not disputing the whole order. Just the amount over $98. The rep opened like 8 different disputes each for small amounts AND the 98. I had to submit the same damn receipt screenshots on each one. I called and a rep said this is how it's done and it's correct. I forgot to submit it to one because theres so fucking many, and they closed that dispute asap Against me, yet the other 7 with screenshot proof have been pending for over a week now.
I'm absolutely over this and I'm not going to say $150 for sale items and out of stock items that Walmart already confirmed. I have the receipt and charges history from them. Do I open an arbitration case? How do I do this? I'm a single mom of one earning min wage killing myself working, I can't afford to pay for a mistake like this

I used affirm to purchase a new Samsung Galaxy S24+ on a 0% APR 24 month term, May 2024. I finished paying it off in April with no late payments or issues. Got alerted by my bank today that my score dropped from 830 to 765, 65 points! I only have 1 other credit card/open account with my bank that I pay on time & l and never had any score issues. Did completing the affirm plan drop my score?

I know I will probably have to consult an estate attorney but figured maybe someone with experience with this can set me on the right path.
I already set up an estate account through my county's courts. I am currently the Administrator of her estate and probate has been in progress since mid April which is when I filed the Notice to Creditors in our newspaper as well.
I didn't know she had a payment plan with Affirm when I closed out her personal bank account for a bank estate account under my name in mid April. I have access to her email and just noticed that Affirm has been sending her late payment notices through her email. Nothing by mail (which all her mail/bills has been forwarded to my address), and nothing sent to me as administrator.
Do I need to contact Affirm? Do I just wait for a notice to be sent to me directly?

So I had a pretty good credit history with Affirm, 6 loans always paid on time and never late. I had a charge pop up on my account for a Q-Link cell phone and service. I reported as a fraudulent charge and a few days later their investigation found it was a fraud and was promptly removed. 3 months later the exact same thing from the exact same company popped up again, and again I reported it.
After a few days I get an email stating that the loan was legit and I was responsible. I immediately filed a dispute. The loan wasnt all that big but the thought of paying a bill that isnt mine pissed me off. I was told that the loan was confirmed and was responsible. I got the info from Affirm to contact Q-Link and called them myself. According to them they had no info on my at all, no account#, no phone sent out with no number with it, nothing at all. Well its damn hard to prove something that doesn't exist and the rep from Q-Link told me to have Affirm to contact to confirm.
I relayed the info, and I get the email confirming the debt. And for the last few years I have been disputing this loan and always its confirmed. I asked to have the loan agreement sent to me. No response Recently I disputed it again and I decided to contact Q-Link to confirm my statements and come to find out they have been out of business for 2 years. And like clockwork here come Affirms loan confirmation after thei investigation. I wrote back to ask who did they actually talk to at Q-Link since they didnt exist anymore. Annnnd nothing, they reported the loan as confirmed without any proof or even attempt to contact this company thats been gone for 2 years.
Bottom line is that Affirm lies about investigating disputes and violate the FCRA rules and they should have an investigation done on them. They wrecked my credit and Im pretty sure Im not the only one and also these credit bureaus need to do better and just dont take these companies at their word, because Affirm does not tell the truth and for years I have asked for proof at the very least and they provide nothing. They are the worst kind of company and hopefully they follow Q-Link into obscurity.

So I’ve been noticing several people have been experiencing this same problem, and as of 4 days ago, me too.
I have 3 loans out with Affirm, total being $143 left to pay on them. They were originally much higher, but I always pay them down every week. I have been with affirm for years, almost a decade.
As of around 4 to 5 days ago, I went to plan a purchase for $381, and I’m hit with the first screenshot. I reach out to support and told they are having a hard time verifying my identity with the system. Huh ?
They escalate the issue, and I’m hit with the second screenshot, telling me they were able to successfully verify my identity, and I’m good to go.
Retry it again and I’m hit with the same problem, like what’s in the first screenshot. Reach out to support and they tell me “the system is saying it can’t verify your identity “
Well this is strange, I haven’t changed addresses since I opened affirm, nothing has changed in my credit in a negative, I’ve actually gotten up to a 740 from a 635, when I first opened Affirm.
The Representative told me, they are aware of this technical issue and are actively investigating it.
So, just thought I would share, in case anybody has encountered this same issue as well.

Last year I went through a very bad divorce and ended up splurging on a new PC using Affirm. I could pay for it, but felt better paying for it over time. Made payments no problem, but then had to make an emergency move out of the US back to my home country of Canada.
I no longer have a US bank account that's active, end still have about 1/4 of the balance left to pay. I'm not sure what to do, as I have the money but they're not giving me any way to send it to them. Am I fucked?

I just recently tried to use Affirm to purchase some stuff online but the seller’s system flagged it as fraudulent and canceled the order. The issue is the plan is Pending on Affirm and says the merchant is processing it even though they auto canceled it. Has anyone else went through this before? I cannot dispute it or anything as it is pending. I assume it might expire eventually with no activity, but I have no way to confirm this as Affirm doesn’t have my issue listed on FAQs or anything.
so i wanna use affirm to get a switch 2 and some games which in total is around $580 and i already paid 5 payments for this month from 3 loans (i currently owe $625) i dont have credit score yet. is it possible for me to get accepted if i wait a couple days since i paid them early tonight.

I have to take a last minute trip for work and I was wondering if I use affirm, what kind of recipt will I get? I'd rather not submit a recipt to my employer that shows I used affirm to pay.
When you book travel with affirm, do the payments start once booked or once the trip happens?

Has affirm sent anyone money under “affirm payments” then randomly taken it back. This happened to me and my bank has no recollection of it even being put in my account, i feel crazy but i swear it happened 😭

I posted about 2 weeks ago about how I had purchased and then immediately canceled a purchase with a merchant. Over those two weeks, I have been in contact with the merchant. I requested a refund.
First they said it would take 7 days to get the money in their PayPal and so they couldn't refund right away. Fine. I called them a week later but with no response I jumped the gun and filed a dispute. Immediately after I got a call from the merchant because they saw I had put through a dispute.
Ended up cancelling the dispute which was resolved in the merchants favor. I received an email from Affirm stating that a refund was on the way. Great. It's been 5 business days with no refund and no contact from the merchant.
I called affirm again to ask if a refund was in limbo. They said no. Now I receive a LONG text message from the merchant about how they took pity on me and initially wanted to process the refund. Now apparently Stripe has taken hold of 50% of their earnings for 60 days. They said that is how they take care of their family.
Overall, I'm tired of this process. They're trying to guilt trip me and I've done all I can.
Any advice going forward?
TLDR: Purchased a product through merchant. Immediately cancelled. Merchant said they would refund. They have not and now are guilt tripping me.

So i wanted to build a credit score and also wanted a ps5 pro. That being said i did a 12 month plan with interest through affirm because they claimed they began reporting to experian. Now i have it payed off and still dont have a credit score yet it was 12 monthly installments and worked the exact same as a traditional loan. I should have done more research before hand but i figured id check with you guys incase there has been some sort of mistake with experian.

Like the title says, I currently have $6,000 approved through Affirm. I only owe $600 through 3 separate loans. 2 Amazon, 1 Target. I recently did a return on a Meta Quest 3S through Amazon and got the Quest 3 through Target since it comes with more storage and they offered a $50 gift card through Target. When I tried to apply for a laptop through Apple or Best Buy they’re having on Special this Memorial Day weekend, I get this notice every time. I’ve researched here in Reddit but can’t find anyone with a similar denial. Does anyone know what it could be? The only activity was the return. Everything else is through auto pay and on time

Affirm is saying I owe them 1,600$ I think. But I called them and they can't even explain what total balance means...... So I'm confused. No dents or missed payments add up to this amount it's weird. I'm afraid to pay because they might keep asking for more after I pay...

Made my first purchase using Affirm today for about $3K but I don’t see it on my account.. would have expected it to show as pending if nothing else
Apple Pay -> Affirm -> 6Mo Plan Pay w/ Bank
Edit: Merchant claims no issue on their end. Nothing under Manage tab on Affirm.

My spending power says $800, I’ve only had two small loans with them that I’ve paid on time every time, never late. My credit score is at 670 and when they used to approve me I was at 630. So what did I do wrong because I can’t even use it for even a $100 purchase anymore?

I ordered Meta Ray-Ban glasses from the Meta Store website as a guest (no account). I filled in all my info and went through Affirm for financing. Affirm approved my loan plan ($395.89, payments starting Jun 23) but I never got any confirmation email or order number from Meta itself. In Affirm it shows “Merchant Processing Order” from May 21 with $0.00 paid so far. Has anyone experienced this? Is it normal to not get a confirmation from Meta when ordering as a guest through Affirm? A bit worried since there’s a discount ending May 25 and I can’t find my order anywhere.

I haven't had any purchase power in a month. I had $2500 a month ago, then I got a bunch of uber loans because I had a trip. It says my purchase power is tied up in plans. Can't even use the card to make a plan. I have gotten what I owe down to $600 from over $1000. Never missed a payment. My credit score is over 700. In fact, I just got a loan for UberEats last night.
Do I just need to keep paying off loans? I still have a couple big ones I'm working on.
Update: well, after over a month of paying things off, I finally got $150 of purchasing power. It's not much but it's better than nothing.
